I know I've sounded like a broken record since I've started posting on here, about one game! But the Ashland game, I can't stress the importance of that game. Look at the last two years. The winner of that game has made a slightly deeper run in the playoffs.
Many of your top teams, as far as district play is concerned, go untested and just blow through their games. Starters out by halftime or the first quarter even. Their district is a cake walk.
That's not JCs district. The Ashland game, very competitive, two teams with championship pedigree going at it, in district play.
Then we also play other championship caliber teams, Corbin, Pikeville, and Belfrey. Then LCC I haven't kept up with of late but they was trending in the right direction last I heard from them.
As far as the schedule goes, the Ad's have been at this for a long time. I have complete confidence of their ability to put together a schedule. Remember just a few years ago we had to go outta state alot to find games. Not many wanted any part of us. Also remember it took the Legendary Coach Matney some year's to get the JC program where he got it. I really believe Coach Peck can do the same.
Also we're scheduled to scrimmage the Cleveland Browns and Ohio St Buckeys. Thanks to Coach Ryan Day for agreeing to do this
Just goofing off about the scrimmages, which I think everyone knew that
