First college baseball team in history to finish a season with a perfect record.  I don't care what level of baseball(btw, NAIA is good baseball to watch) we're talking, any baseball team finishing a season with 59 wins in 59 games is simply amazing . Congrats!!!


Btw, my alma mater, the University of the Cumberlands , hosted the opening round of the NAIA tourney at Williamsburg and won their pool with a 3-0 record and advanced to the NAIA World Series, where they won two games and lost two. Both games they lost were to Hope International, out of Fullerton, Calif.  The Cumberlands finished the season with a 50-12 record.  While not quite 59-0 , still an impressive season for the Patriots.
