What are the traits of a narcissist?

People with NPD expect to get special treatment.
They exaggerate their own smarts, success, power, and looks.
The lack of empathy leads them to take advantage of people, with no regrets.
Narcissists may be extremely jealous and ultra-sensitive.
Because they tend to be very thin-skinned, they may angrily lash out at any criticism or push-back.
Narcissists also may lash out when they feel like they’re not getting special treatment.
Underneath all of these traits is a deep sense of insecurity.
And — no big surprise, when you consider all these traits — narcissists may find it super-difficult to have healthy relationships, and have loads of trouble at work.

That’s a good point. How long does it take to credit a player’s development to the school they transferred to? Looking at last season’s APB roster: Smith is from BC, Hoskins is from Morgan County, and Neel Russell, Carter played five seasons at APB. He took the COVID year to repeat his freshman season but never moved to Ashland and lives in Greenup County. Freize also took a COVID year, though most of his formative years were spent at EC. The South Point player resides in South Point, and his mother teaches there, not in Ashland. Deboard was at APB for less than a year. Marcum, originally from Cabell Midland, left right after APB lost in the State tournament, enrolled at Cabell Midland the following Monday, and graduated there. Porter was mainly developed at Elliot County.

In my opinion, the players mentioned were either developed at their previous schools or never relocated from their original communities. So, their development should be attributed to the schools where they spent most of their formative years, not the schools they currently attend.

APB exemplifies the practice of allowing others to cultivate talent and then encouraging transfers once the individuals reach high school age.

HOOPFAN have you really watched the kids you have spoke about previous team?  Elliott, Boyd, Greenup, Morgan, Russell coaches I wouldn’t consider them being over achievers in fundamental teaching.  I hope and pray you can win one regional title and break A-Towns stronghold of 7 regional title straight with other regional players that was recruited lol.  The County last regional title came from a recruit from Ohio who was the best player while the Boyd county’s favorite son (Stewart) played second fiddle that year. Remember

I have observed these teams for years, and it is evident that those schools have invested significant time in developing their players. However, APB recruits these well-trained athletes to play high school for them. The effort and dedication in player development have already been accomplished by other schools. APB, takes advantage of this hard work. This is why students often leave APB to attend other area schools during middle school. They recognize, especially this year as clear example, that APB consistently recruits over its own players. APB does not develop its talent but rather selects players from area schools who have undergone substantial development elsewhere.

Stewart did not take a secondary role that year to anyone. He fulfilled his responsibilities, just as everyone else on that team did. However, the Smiths' parents were unhappy with his role on the team and made their dissatisfaction clear.

And this is exactly what lead Coach Anderson to let you (JSPURLOCK) be on staff. No balls and all the coaches you have mentioned are just like him At Elliott (Adkins) Russell (Cooksey) Boyd (Anderson) Greenup (fired Amos) Morgan (Grifith too young to know)

Your opinion on the other coaches does not seem to reflect accurate assessments of their coaching styles. It appears you lack an understanding of basketball or what is required to coach or develop young players. You're focus on one individual, mentioned your post, seems excessive and suggests a preoccupation that may need addressing. It appears that person occupies much of your thoughts regarding Boyd County. If the players had not been taken from the coaches you mentioned, Ashland would not have won a single regional tournament in the past five years. Sellars and Villars were the last group of players who were from Ashland. The rest were taken from the other coaches you referenced.

From what I've heard, Boyd County brought JSpurlock on staff because of his impressive basketball knowledge and experience. Word is he's been dealing with a medical issue that he's addressing or has addressed. But wow, you seem to be his ultimate fan, borderline obsessed! KYJELLY, I'm sure you'll have a different take on this. One thing for sure—the kids at Boyd County seem to adore him. But hey, I clearly don’t know as much you do about him! HaHa!
