With Sperry out of the way, I see very little if any competition for them in the region.

I have said this all along. Yes, Hazard has been the favorite to win the region for the last few years but there was one big factor that got them every time, they did not have the best player. Sperry has been the best player in this region for the last 3 years. That makes a difference when you have the best player. People who say when is the Hazard hype train gonna end are 100% in the right to say that. But this year will be different. Not only will they have the best team but they will have the best PLAYER.. Seth Caudill will be the best player in the region. With the guys he has around him in combs, johnson, osborne, and others I dont see anyone touching them.

That was my point. Seth, DC, Johnson, Osborne and both Gibson boys are all going to be Seniors. If Hazard is gonna win it anytime soon they better do it this year. Coach Huff will be in rebuild mode after next season losing atleast those 6 seniors. That’s if they all stay to begin with.

And this is when you will see if he can coach or not! Anyone can walk into a loaded team and win. The true definition of a coach will be in seeing how he builds a program up. To be honest the introduction was a bit theoretical in my opinion. It’s not like he was their first choice or second or third. He was decided on after several had turned down the job. I understand his excitement regardless but let’s not get it twisted. He was hired because he brought in players that would benefit them in football too! Had it not been for that, he wouldn’t have landed the job.
