Keys to the game..
1. Wolfe didn't hit..... Hitters gotta hit
2. The HR right after a blown call by umpires that allowed Combs to be safe at 1st. Watch it over, the kid runs a mile outside of base path to avoid the tag. Would have been the 3rd out. Then for some reason they pitch one in the zone to Howard...  Big momentum swing.
3. Pitch Calls

This is pretty spot on. The play at first was a missed call that would've ended the inning before the big hit from Howard.  Take that away, Wolfe still loses at least 3-1. You can't take away the fact that Breathitt just outplayed Wolfe point blank. Wolfe left several runners stranded on bases.  Wolfe's bats have cooled way off the second half of the season.  Wolfe wasn't hitting last night and not one single time did the hitters change their approach. To me, that 100% falls on coaching. Pitch calling was bad again last night and has been sketchy all season long. Wolfe has arguably the best pitching rotation in the region, but the lack of correct pitch calling is not helping their case.  Time for someone else to call pitches
