They did move down to the district with Lawrence, Estill, Powell, and Magoffin County. They replaced Belfry.

I think 3A is between Bell, Rock, Lawrence, and Letcher and that is not in any certain order. I believe those four teams could beat either on any given night. Home field will play a huge role as it always does. All return great players. IMO, Lawrence is the sleeper, they return a lot on both sides and get some injured players back that will be difference makers. The key will be which team stays healthy.

Does Lawerence have there schedule out yet or Letcher Central? Be curious to see how each team has scheduled for the upcoming year. I agree those 4 teams should be the final 4 in the East side with whoever wins out being the top two teams in the East having to either travel to CAL/Lex Cath or if RPI holds getting to host those schools and make them travel East. Be nice to get to host and use home field to try and level the playing field. I doubt any East team will be able to beat those two teams but would be awesome if they were able to. It’s hard for public schools to knock out those private institutions. I wished they would group together all private schools maybe have two classes so it’s not unfair to them either. Have a small private class for all classes 1A thru 6A and then a large private class 1A thru 6A. That way the larger private schools based on enrollment you would have top 4 teams like  CAL, LCA,Trinity and St X together. Then top 4 of Lex Cath, Sayre, Cov Cath and Owensboro Cath in the smaller private school group that way come playoff time those teams could face off and play each other. This would allow for a more competitive and interesting playoff instead of having good talented public schools do really good all year and then get blowed out in State finals game. It would give more parity and allow for other schools to have a chance to say they won a state title. I’m sure it would get support from nearly everyone and I don’t think even private schools would be against it. I mean they understand they have a huge advantage and I’m sure feel it’s unfair.
