I agree with both of you in varying degrees, problem is who’s gonna police the police as the saying goes…. There’s rules against it that hasn’t stopped it….. I know Hoot doesn’t necessarily agree with it but term limits would help a lot imo….

We don't have a politician problem. We have a problem with voter stupidity. Imposing term limits would require a Constitutional amendment, which I don't believe will ever make it to a vote. If a law is ever passed to limit terms, it will pass because members of Congress know that the Supreme Court will strike it down.

Members of Congress advocating term limits run neck and neck with those who advocate campaign finance reform for the title of top campaign scammers.

I can’t disagree with this either, politicians will absolutely take care off themselves before taking care of anyone else….. What’s even more hypocritical is during the 4 years of untamed inflation, boys playing in women’s sports, and all the other crooked politics going on in DC I never once witnessed a democrat on here complaining about anything.  I don’t totally agree with Trump on everything but the things driving them absolutely bonkers brings a smile to my face….
