Speaking of little country stores, I had an aunt that had one, and of course there was a gigantic jar of pickled bologna on the counter. And you told about how long a piece you wanted and she would just stick her hand down in the juice and grab the roll and cut off a piece. No gloves, no tongs, no problem. What a treat that was!

She should have had that saying on the on the counter as customers ordered. I would laugh my ass off if I saw something like that.
