[Granny Bear]

I can't recall the year, but I went to the final four when it was in Arlington. It was the year that we played the Texas twins and Randall was the low post. Tickets for all games were $750, and while those seats were not the best in the house, but they weren't bad either. The four teams playing were UConn, Florida, UK and Wisconsin. That is an experience I will never forget!! The Wisconsin fans were passionate but very friendly. The UConn and Florida fans were thuggish and I was happy to watch MANY of them be arrested.

The atmosphere is difficult if not impossible to describe. We sat with Wisconsin fans, and had a lot of friendly banter. But, even though they lost to UK, most of them came back to the championship game and cheered for UK. Texas fans showed up for us, too. Combine that with the way BBN travels, and we had a lot of very LOUD support.
