The original Milk Duds that had a thick layer of real chocolate around the caramel center. Maybe it's just me, but the quality of the chocolate and the peanut butter in Reeses Cups seems to have nose-dived. More sugar, less peanut butter and chocolate.

The quality of the chocolate, PB, and other ingredients of many of our favorite delights from childhood have nose-dived. Big drop off.

There are some German grocery chains in this area, Aldi and Lidl. They are both budget groceries, but both carry great chocolate candy at reasonable prices.
