I’m hearing Prestonsburg is 100% backing Tackett if he decides to return. However, some don’t expect that to happen. I’m not going to act like I know what he will do because I don’t. I will say I’m hearing a name as a potential replacement  is Moore from FC. I don’t have a clue if it’s even remotely close to being true but just what I’ve heard.

I’ve heard and I hope it’s not true is one of his assistant coaches taking over. To me that would mean the same things keep happening because if you got a good staff you think they want you to win and not loose.

If Alan Joe resigned the best option to replace him sits on the bench right now and its one of the all time winningest coaches in Floyd County history at the girls level. 

I realize you don't like him, but the sign of a good coach is having haters. if you make everyone happy you aren't doing something right.

No one on that bench needs to take over for him. If that was the case then Alan Joe should stay. I don’t know any of them personally they maybe great people but if your wanting to change a program it starts with the whole coaching staff. You win and loose as a whole. When they fired spurlock they fired all of them for one man behavior or they should had keep Todd Howard and the crew. Alan Joe may not even resign so we will see.

I personally think Justin Triplet is a great coach. I can’t count how many times he made it to the district championship. As I remember it was always them and Lawrence but they never could get over the hump because of Kensley Feltner. He always had an above 60% win percentage. He won 2 district championships at FC. He would make a great coach.
