If someone could offer up any plausible reasoning behind the "ransom" note , I might be more open to an intruder. But the note makes zero sense. "Foreign faction" ... give me a break!   $118,000 ? That was like $18 to the Ramsey's. Why ask for such a paltry sum? And why kill her and leave her in the basement if you had kidnapped her and was offering her up for ransom? No sense, whatsoever. Then consider the similarity to Patsy's handwriting, use of exclamations, and French words like "attache' , " written on Patsy's note pad.  I think the crazy note wasn't well thought out. To me, it's MORE incriminating, not less.  

So, I'm starting from this. Patsy wrote the note. Now WHY did she write it? Was she covering for herself? Her husband? Burke?  John Andrew?  Someone else? I doubt she would cover for a non-family member. Do you think Patsy ever confessed to someone in confidence what she knew really happened?
