[Old School Hound]

I was thinking earlier about how I would like to see Kentucky close out their season. I mean, short of making a deep run in the NCAAT, which I think most of us would agree is pretty unlikely, what would you be happy seeing the Cats do to finish off this season? For me, if they could win their remaining two regular season games(won't be easy winning at Mizzou), then win a couple games in the SECT, and two in the NCAAT, I think most Cat fans should be pretty pleased with this group. Mind you, winning 2 and 2 and 2  is a pretty tall order.  Quite challenging, I think, but also  not terribly unrealistic. That means they would finish 25-12 on the season, above .500 in the strongest conference in America and have four postseason wins to their credit.  Pretty darn good season. We just had way too many injuries to key personnel and lost too many games to inferior competition. This season probably go down in the minds of most UK fans as a very fun season and an enjoyable team to watch, but a season of "what might have been."

What about you? I'd like to hear what you would be satisfied with from here on out for this team. How many wins dio they need and how far do they need to advance in postseason play for you to be satisfied with the way they closed out the season?  Are you on board with my  2 + 2+ 2 plan  ???
