I wonder if this says more about South or Corbin at this point. I know many had crowned South as regional favorites, but they found themselves in a really bad spot late against a young Corbin team. I don’t think they win in this situation against the top tier teams in the 13th. On the other hand, Corbin put themselves in position to win against a legit contender and even dominated for parts of the game. The talent is there for them, but I wonder how far that can take them. With their path to a regional championship, it’s going to take consistent, high-level play.
