Super region is here to stay. Everyone has already benefited from it that needed too. Pike county only people that against it because they aren’t guaranteed there 4 spots automatically into the tournament. All other schools in the region are for it. Everyone saying it’s a participation tournament has bumped their damn heads. Just look at this year. Pike central girls was number one seed in a three team district and made the district championship and then got beat by Phelps so in  the old format they would have been in the region tournament without winning a game. That sounds like a participation tournament to me.

Pike County people aren't against it.

From what you see online most ppl against it are from pike.

I'd say overall 90% of the people are for it. I would use seeding for 1st round games so you don't get highly unbalanced brackets but the super regional is a great idea and I would guess is here to stay.
