This is a dumb post. Of course they would win state. Anyone who doesn't think so doesn't really understand basketball and just how good those players are.

If it would make you happier I could post about your 8-18 Pirates who just lost to a 3 Win Tolsia Team.

Post all you want. I never once thought Belfry could win the region no matter who the coach was and that was preseason before Rash left. And not making excuses but Belfry hadn't really practiced any at all since the flood and they had a starter out and another one go out early with Little who is probably the best player on the team. Anyone knows Belfry has about 5 kids that deserve to get varsity minutes and if one goes down they are screwed especially if its one of the guards

I agree. It’s very entertaining to think about as well. I can see where they don’t win the region but I don’t know how teams would get a stop unless they send 3-4 at the NBA player and let the others shoot wide open shots and hope they miss.

We used to have this debate with putting LeBron on Piarist back when I was in school and that was we thought, that we’d put 3-4 people on him and guard the other 4 with 1-2 players. East Ridge is a lot better than those Piarist teams were because Piarist was not capable of getting a stop whereas East Ridge is, so maybe I’m wrong, it would be interesting definitely haha.

Buddy, chill out, and quit commenting on basketball. You make more a fool of yourself with every post you make, it is obvious you are the one who doesn’t understand how good those players are. Any elite NBA player would have 50+ sure, but they aren’t God, to say he would take East Ridge to a state championship and beat teams like Great Crossing and St. X is just not true. Reed Sheppard, I know he isn’t LeBron, was the #3 pick, and never won a state championship, and his team was good.

You also lost your credibility when you said Watts was better than Onkst in every category earlier this year, including shooting. Pretty easy to look that stuff up.

Watts is better than Onkst. Watts takes a lot of bad shots but he makes shots and can do things no one else in the 15th region can do. If you had them just shoot 100 3's he would rank in the top of the region in makes. Ask college coaches if you don't believe me.

There are 4 guys from the 15th Region ranked in the Top 50 in the state in 3 Point FG Made per game, and Watts ain’t one of em. In fact, Watts ain’t even #1 on his own team.

He takes a lot of bad shots but if you're just talking pure shooting he is very good. He is one of the best players I've seen in the 15th region in the last 10 years. Not saying best just one of
