I agree. It’s very entertaining to think about as well. I can see where they don’t win the region but I don’t know how teams would get a stop unless they send 3-4 at the NBA player and let the others shoot wide open shots and hope they miss.

We used to have this debate with putting LeBron on Piarist back when I was in school and that was we thought, that we’d put 3-4 people on him and guard the other 4 with 1-2 players. East Ridge is a lot better than those Piarist teams were because Piarist was not capable of getting a stop whereas East Ridge is, so maybe I’m wrong, it would be interesting definitely haha.

Buddy, chill out, and quit commenting on basketball. You make more a fool of yourself with every post you make, it is obvious you are the one who doesn’t understand how good those players are. Any elite NBA player would have 50+ sure, but they aren’t God, to say he would take East Ridge to a state championship and beat teams like Great Crossing and St. X is just not true. Reed Sheppard, I know he isn’t LeBron, was the #3 pick, and never won a state championship, and his team was good.

You also lost your credibility when you said Watts was better than Onkst in every category earlier this year, including shooting. Pretty easy to look that stuff up.
REED SHEPPARD WAS 18 WHEN HE PLAYED!!! YOU PUT AN 25 YEAR OLD REED SHEPPARD OUT THERE AND SEE IF THEY DONT WIN STATE.

Anyone that wants credibility has to start the convo with “when they were 18” If you honestly believe that a NBA player in their prime isn’t running clocking any team in the 15th region on the worst team you are quite insane.

The best players in the world double team steph curry in his prime, tripled shaq, or if you really wanna deep dive look how the spurs guarded lebron in the 07 finals. A simple triple team just doesn’t make a difference when it’s 16 year olds.

I shouldn’t have included the Reed Sheppard tid bit, I know there’s a big difference between 25 and 18. Pirateforlife’s comment just got under my skin. With that being said l don’t think Reed Sheppard at 25 could win the 15th with this East Ridge team much less state. I don’t think St. X would have any trouble scoring 100+ against them with whichever 1 player you put on the other team, they can’t guard 5 players. You can yell to the clouds that it’s insane to think, I have watched a lot of elite level basketball up close and that’s my opinion. Not saying you haven’t but I’m not basing my opinion off of nothing and definitely not a Brian Scalabrine 1 on 1 YouTube video.
You can throw out the youtube video, everyone knows that development continues on and on. Reed sheppard now would scorch reed sheppard two seasons ago at north. It wouldn’t even be close. Now give home another 5 seasons in the NBA with the best trainers in the world, perfecting his craft. Take the worst active pro, he’s better than any high school player in america by a hefty margin. The only exception maybe is Flagg, and he’s considered the best prospect since anthony davis.

Now take the best of the best. The best basketball players on the planet. Instead of how many blanks do you need to change a light bulb, the question should be how many 6’2 white 16 year olds does it take to hold prime lebron to under 100 points. Unless you have freak athletes that probably go D1, which is a rarity… STX has the best, who is scoring in the paint on a NBA forward playing the middle of a zone. At this point the 3 in the NBA is a 6’7+ freak athlete who pulls it from 40. For example prime KD, who scores inside 15 feet if he’s in the middle of the zone?? Now you have to rely on a team of athletes to make long threes.

And finally, THEY WILL FOUL OUT!!! ANY NBA PLAYER WILL FOUL A TEENAGER OUT WITHIN MINUTES. Now you got KD or Lebron on the bench guys.

I forgot about Bronny, exclude bronny from the active pro discussion.
