IMO. The award goes to Moreno. He is the clear cut choice based off basketball upside. I’ve seen a few of the 2025 kids play that will be up for this award. Out of the 16 eligible kids. Moreno is #1.  After that you could have a few discussions about who would be in the running afterwards.  I think it would be close for the 2nd 3rd 4th guy.  If that even matters.

As far as Zander, he will have played more games in high school than any kid that I am aware of in the state of KY. That is impressive when talking about durability. He has a nice frame and will be fine Liberty. I think he could ultimately play more 3 than the 2. He doesn’t shoot it at a high enough level consistently yet! He will put in the work.  If looking at just the comparison of Z and Mo. Mo is a bigger impact player than Z. Score, rebound, block shots, and passer all goes to Mo. Z shoots it better and handles it better. But hey. They play two different roles and positions.  The size and skill set alone make Mo power 5 vs Z. I’m not saying Z can’t play at UK. Given the opportunity, he may do what Noah is doing or close.

Z is a good player and I hope he kills it at the next level. I like to see any area player make it.
Everyone’s opinions vary and I respect yours. I respect you pushing for these local kids even if they do go to a rival school of yours. I want to see all area kids succeed and perform well in college. @HOOPFAN I think Jacob shoots it at a high enough clip to be able to play meaningful minutes as soon as he steps on campus at the Division 1 School he chooses.

I agree, most adults do want to see area kids do well unless your KY, he just is filled full of haterade! I am sure it comes from his inadequate playing time (if he even played) in school. As far as Spur, he can shoot the rock! He can put that thang in the thang and from anywhere in the gym. He will continue to grow as a player I am sure due to the work that young man puts in. Congratulations to that young man for breaking BC school record for all-time leading scorer. What I have heard out of the COUNTY he did it in less games, less shots, and less starts, then Frank. That is not normally the case when breaking the previous record.

KY-We know Z is approaching 3K in points, how many seasons has he played? total games? I was told but I would like someone that actually knows to say what those totals are that is close to the program. I heard it was actually a state of KY record of most games played?
