The differences between high school and college basketball are significant. College players are generally bigger, stronger, and faster, with a greater emphasis on defense. Nearly all 13 to 15 players on a college roster have the ability to score. For freshmen entering Division I programs, finding meaningful minutes on the court can be challenging. While it's not impossible, scoring alone isn't typically the primary factor that determines playing time.
