There aren't going to be any gimmes from here.
This game, at Oklahoma, and versus LSU are ones that we really need if we're going to finish .500 in SEC play. Losing to 'Dem Tigahs at home would probably hurt our metrics most. Alabama and Auburn would be great for NCAA seeding but really won't mean much in terms of conference standings. Missouri won't mean much for NCAA seeding but will mean a ton in the SEC standings. This one is actually pretty big for both conference standings and NCAA seeding.
Didn't get to watch our first match-up as closely as I'd have liked and didn't rewatch any of it, but think we can exploit Vanderbilt's lack of size with Carr back. Brea had a pretty terrible game against them the first time, but I think he breaks out of his mini-slump tomorrow. Of the three freshmen (Perry, Noah, and Chandler), we're going to need at least one to play an above-average game and another to hold their own.
I'm banking on us holding them below 35% from three on 30+ attempts and on creating more than 5 turnovers. Don't know that it will be very high scoring, but I can't see the Cats going down in Rupp unless they cough up 15+ turnovers.
