Got to rewatch this and both teams played well. Lawrence stood toe to toe with APB starters. Difference was APB got 20+ points from the bench. APB will still have to come firing all cylinders from starts and bench to beat Boyd.

Lawrence stood toe to toe with everyone except Neel, Hughes and Carter.  Zander is too much for anyone in this region/state.  I watched Ashland dominate Boyd the first game they played this season.  Boyd played the best game that they could play and caught Ashland on a bad night in the second contest.  Hughes is starting to get comfortable and playing well.  Neel is eligible now after Russell’s new cash cow stopped picking on a kid. It is a different Tomcat team now and Boyd still has the same coaches.  Minus one that they ran off.  JMO

Jmo. Lawrence went away from what was working defensively the first half. If they would have stuck with that. May have had a chance late in the game. Now the daddy fun starts at Ashland and will be in full force. Neel is going to take minutes. Already is. Hoskins Smith Davis and Clarke have all felt it. It will ruin their chances.

As far as BC vs APB. First game. Carter played the best basketball of his entire career that night. Lalonde maybe his. They haven’t had a game like that since.

Second meeting Boyd wasn’t full strength and still won at Ashland. It really makes me think what other excuses you would make appy for these guys. BC is the better team in my opinion. I guess opinions vary. That’s why we just play the game. Haha
