Ashland did and the Bulldogs still competed. I'm not sure if Lawrence even has a senior on the team? Could be the start of a good run for them. Congrats to the Bulldogs for a quality loss and one of those moral victories. On the other side it seems Ashland's defense was a little off. Not much help defense, pretty much I have my man and you have yours. Give the Bulldogs credit, they made a lot of tough short to mid range shots with a defender in their face. If Lawrence produced a poor shooting performance it could've gotten out of hand early, but they didn't and the score didn't. It was a good high school game. The Tomcats will have to step it up for George Washington today or they could get smacked right after beating them just over a week ago.
Lawrence does not have a senior who plays minutes.    They are playing three juniors and three sophomores currently and playing well.

They have an ability to spread floor out and all five players can handle and shoot enough to respect them on floor.    Plus they play really hard and have been getting better defensively.

Size is biggest issue and hurts them in certain matchups.    But they can play with anyone who spreads floor and don’t have a true big.
