Their 7th/8th grade team didn’t have a lot of talent and it showed on the field! They have the athletes walking the halls to have a competitive team, but all they seem to care about is basketball and baseball! Their 5th/6th grade team has a lot more upside, and their coaches seem to do a pretty good job, but they aren’t on the same level as Prestonsburg or Betsy Layne at this grade level. If Hoskins can get some of these kids out on the gridiron, things could get interesting, but I’m not holding my breath!

7/8 had talent the problem was mainly the head coach .He didn’t either know or want to teach them. He coached both teams and at this age it is more about development than winning. When you have someone who can’t bother to even have all the kids involved at practice  then they need to be replaced with someone who can.
