A commitment of 10,000 Mexican troops along the border is a pretty big show. I will never understand people who are so politically biased that they hope that their own country fails.

I am skeptical of tariffs myself, but if Joe Biden had not been a Walking Dead, Do-Nothing president and tried using tariffs as leverage to stem the flow of fentanyl and illegal aliens into this country, I would have been hoping that he succeeded. 

How can any American citizen be opposed to saving lives lost to poisonous drugs and violent criminal aliens?. Why are you so eager to see Trump fail, regardless of his objectives? You never explain why leaving violent criminal illegal aliens alone and ignoring the fentanyl issue associated with an open border is a good thing. Instead, you give us a non-stop Trump hate fest.

Looking at it objectively, which I realize that you can't, face it, Trump blinked.  He stated that there was absolutely nothing that Canada or Mexico could do to avoid the tariffs.  Was he lying?  The markets started to tank and there were warnings that grocery prices and auto prices would increase, so Trump pretty much backed down and them claimed a victory.   Mexico moved 10,000 troops to the border last year at Biden's request, so where is this victory? 

I will give him credit for addressing the drug problem anyway as the Biden administration did very little to curb it.  I don't really understand the emphasis on Canada though, only .2% of the fentanyl seized last year was at the Canadian border.

Trump wasn't lying he was NE-GO-TI-A-TING. And it WORKED. Also Mexico never moved 10,000 troops to the border, otherwise illegal aliens wouldn't have been able to walk into this country by the millions whenever they felt like it. And the markets weren't going to tank over tariffs, that's lib propaganda to make Dems "angry and afraid" for the millionth time. The market went up during record inflation under Biden, tariffs on a small percentage of our GDP and imports aren't going to tank the markets. And anyone repeating "trade war" is an idiot. That would cripple Canada and Mexico and we would feel it little if any at all.

Finding someone to agree with you on Trump's ability and vision isn't ever going to be an easy task Jet. When you're stranded out in the desert heat miles and miles from food and water you don't turn down a ride into town on the back of a Honda just because you're a Harley man. 

The level of graft, payoffs and theft typical of American government is past mind blowing. Regarding the Pentagon pertaining to unnecessary manpower--  I just saw where wages and benefits are concerned we could pay for 6 new fully equipped air craft carriers a year.

I am glad that Trump won the 2016 election, but IMO, he entered office totally unprepared to keep his promise of draining the swamp. He was an average president, at best.

So far, I give Trump an A+ for his second term. No president, including Reagan, has ever been better prepared to enact his agenda than Trump has been for his second term.

For anybody who cares to connect the dots, Elon Musk has already uncovered enough evidence to show that the deep state successfully rigged the 2020 election, but I don't believe Trump would have been as effective had he won his second term in 2020, as he is now. Maybe the 2020 loss and the illegal efforts to keep him off the ballot in 2024 were blessings in disguise. Democrats were given plenty of rope and apparently never considered the consequences of losing in 2024. I think they are about to hang, thanks to all that rope.
