The next 5 games for South Laurel might be the toughest 5 game stretch for anyone in the state all year. Woodford, Harlan County, Great Crossing, Madison Central, Jtown all have been ranked in the top 25 most of the season and GC very well can be state champs in a few weeks. Bell County has established themselves as a true number 1, but the gap between them and 5 or 6 is tighter than ever. With the Knox win at Clay, it now becomes 7 spots. Bell has Corbin and at Knox left, and if they win those with the other games they will be 25-4. If he adds another game to get to 30 and go 26-4, im sure there hasn’t been a Bell County team have 26 wins in a regular season. I believe last year the record was broken at 24.
