Bracken will be pretty tough next season again.

That’s true, their RB is very good and comes back next season, but it’s a tall task to beat Breathitt in Jackson in November.

Hard to beat them anytime there if you’re about evenly matched. You have to be 14+ better to

So, Breathitt's the only team in the mts. that gets a home field advantage? Everyone else plays nice. Got it. So, is it the refs? I don't know of any that lives, works or connected to Breathitt. Is it the coaches who cheat? If so, it isn't working too well. You must have not seen too many games in the 14th Region. Unfortunately, it's a fact of life.......in most sports in the mts.

I can’t speak for bac, but I wasn’t implying that there’s anything nefarious going on in Jackson in November. I’m implying that they’re one of the few mountain programs to win multiple state championship trophies and there’s a reason for that. I played there 3 times in November and two of those games were absolute dog fights and they blew us out the other time. It’s not the refs or cheating coaches, it’s the kids from Breathitt county that make Jackson a tough place to win in November. They’ve got a different kind of home field advantage than any mountain school other than maybe Belfry and Pikeville. As soon as you pull in there you see in big blue letters “3 time state champions” and if you don’t tighten up the laces of your cleats after you see that then be ready for them to knock you out of them! I’ve got nothing but respect for that place.
