1987 Williamsburg lost to eventual state champ Clay Co in the regional finals. I think the score was 88-74. The Jackets had athletes all over the court. Brothers James and Timmy Cornett. Dougie Mays, Mike Maxey and a very underrated PG Dennis Miller. Not that the burg was upset by Clay who was superior to almost everyone that year. Just a good, forgotten team from the 13th Region back in the day.
