I'm not mad that Reed is trying to pay homage to Cal, I'm disappointed because he invited controversy with how he did it. He thought this would be a clever and cute with this stunt and it just came off as insecure and dumb. Cal is your guy? Fine, send him a private text to tell him you're rooting for him. That wasn't enough for Reed. He wanted to be cool and display it out in the open to fit in with a group that doesn't have any college hardware but they do have the fact that they played for Cal.


Make no mistake, had Reed won anything of significance during his short time at UK he would not have done this. He would have understood the grit and determination and the meaning of accomplishing something for his team and he would have never tried to take anything away from that. He didn't win anything, so now he has to pump up the fact that he played for Cal because it's frankly all he has. "
