Do you like the idea of tariffs imposed on our biggest trading partners?  Do you favor a trade war that will hike prices of some of your favorite goods?  I think it's a very bad idea. Trump likes it just because he can do it and because he enjoys creating chaos.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has just announced that it will retaliate against Trump's  tariffs with it's own 25% tariffs on imports of goods from the US.  The first phase will go into effect on Tuesday, and will include tariffs on $30 billion worth of goods. The next phase will include tariffs on an additional $125 billion of goods. Mexico said it has plans to follow suit. 

Jet, better stock up on your booze. Beer and liquor prices are going up, up, up.  Granny Bear, that morning Orange juice or coffee and those fruits and vegetables for those pies and cakes, likely just got a lot pricier.

I doubt Trump's tariffs will get the blame from BGR scholars , though.

My alcohol of choice is Tito's Handmade Vodka (made in Austin, TX), Woodford Reserve Bourbon (Woodford Co. Kentucky), and Coors Light Beer (Golden, Colorado). So no tariffs there. I don't know of any products from Canada, Mexico or China I buy as I always try to buy American goods. 

The bigger issue is punishing those countries that have been taking advantage of us and worse, doing nothing to stop drug smuggling and people smuggling into our country. Libtards are fine with the Biden administration opening the borders and exacerbating the fentanyl crisis that is killing 100s of thousands of Americans as well as spiking violent crime and many other social ills while spending billions of taxpayer dollars on illegal aliens. Trump is trying to stop it and libtards are against it and "angry and afraid." Dumbest and most unhappy people on Earth. I avoid them like the plague. 

Still waiting for libtards to tell me what tariffs these and other countries charge on American goods. Won't happen because they are too lazy to do anything other than call names and copy and paste from far left libtard propaganda sites.

Apparently you don't understand how tariffs work.  The tariffs that other countries charge on American goods will mostly hurt their citizens, whereas the imported items that come into the US with the US tariff on them will cost Americans more.   The tariffs that say Canada imposes on US goods will cost US companies profits due to less items being sold and also the possibility that they may have to eat some of the expense as well.  I wonder who will end up paying for these losses?  The consumer and taxpayers obviously.
