In the minds of a lot of Big Blue fans this was a game you simply had to win. One of the podcast dudes said this is the worst UK loss ever since he's been a fan.

You think quoting idiots makes you sound smart. Again, it's the opposite. Not surprised you don't know the difference in a Feb 1 SEC loss and getting knocked out of the NCAA tournament and having your season ended by a community college. Nobody is that stupid, you have to be play-acting.

I'm not surprised you don't understand that UK lost to a community college team because DJ Wagner scored  0 points  and the London Golden Boy scored 3 points and played scared all night.   If DJ Wagner had played with one-tenth of the motivation he played with last night against UK, KY would have scorched Oakland and probably had a real shot at reaching the Final Four.

The Oakland loss was worse and Wagner and Sheppard were why they lost. I've never been swayed from that opinion.
Drew Franklin closed the KSR post-game podcast last night by saying it was the worst loss or worst night(can't remember which word he used) in UK basketball history.  Come on Drew, I hope you were kidding.

I agree with Bluecat and yourself.  Part of the problem was making too big of a deal of this game. The Cats came out and looked fine early but when Arkansas just wouldn't go away and then built a lead, I think UK layers really felt the added pressure put on them for this game. The pressure got to them and to Coach Pope in the second half. They folded under the weight of that pressure, which shouldn't have been any more than any other game.

Weird state:  UK is  6-1 against Top 15 teams and  1-5 against unranked Power Five teams. Cats have to learn to bring it EVERY NIGHT !!!
