That is not the entire picture. Reed is wearing UK shorts.
That is not comforting BBN much, though. The KSR guys were critical of Reed's wardrobe malfunction. Said it wouldn't have been as bad if it had been a UK shirt and Arkansas shorts. Saw one hillbilly post that that said Reed should never come back to Kentucky. I wonder how well thought out this was by young Sheppard ? He had to know that this would piss off BBN to the nth degree. Seems a bit of a middle finger he was giving to Big Blue fans for essentially running off the head coach that made him rich. Good for you, young Sheppard boy. I love your bravado and your loyalty to your ex-coach. Classy touch, young man.

I thought the same thing,, but I figure people are much more likely to have t-shirts of colleges than shorts. Maybe he didn't have Arkansas shorts. The shorts he had on appeared to be shorts he wore last season at UK. Who knows?

It is a free country and Reed can do as he pleases, but I figure he ticked a lot of UK fans off with that pic. Maybe he should have just texted Cal privately. I will be honest, I am not a huge basketball fan, but I liked Reed. I was really rooting for him in the NBA. After seeing the pic, while I am not rooting against him, I will no longer Google him to see how he is doing. That may be silly on my part, but that is how I feel.

And the Good Sheppard knew EXACTLY what he was doing and that he'd piss off most of the fanbase. Reed may have graduated from North Laurel but he's not a dumb kid. He was giving a bit of a middle finger to those who have bashed his former coach for the better part of a year, or more. He even made the statement that he was wearing the ARK shirt to support his former coach. Ironically, it might have been Reed, more than anyone, who was responsible for Cal being a Razorback now, instead of a Wildcat. Reed was awful against Oakland. Didn't look like he even wanted to be out there. Looked scared all game.
