[Old School Hound]

Bash me if you must , but this is a mediocre Kentucky team. They are capable on a given night of beating a better team but they are capable on ANY night of losing to a very bad team, like tonight.

This is exactly what I said earlier in the season and I got hammered by a lot of people so I stopped posting. I like Pope and this team but they are not great. Bad defense, bad ,rebounding, and if Butler is out no one to run the floor. when hitting Threes can beat anybody when they’re not they can get beat by anybody. They also beat themselves at the foul line last night, and way too many unforced turnovers. Noah Perry and Chandler have no business being on the floor when Butler is hurt We are in trouble. I think it’s amazing What he did in three months and people are way too hard on him. Can’t wait to see what he does when he has time to get his own players in there after a year or two of recruiting definitely was not one of his better coaching games last night, do not understand why he did not try to get the ball inside more often.

Hogs had ZERO  answer for Williams. Keep feeding that beast!!!  As many are saying, this was Pope's nadir so far in his UK coaching career. He was bad last night and Cal was very, very good.  As the KSR guys said, Pope took the coaching L to the Hall of Famer last night.
