Returning players mean a lot sometimes and not so much others. I would guess most had Pikeville running over 1A last season. They lost a ton of “stats” but not sure you can go off returning numbers for them because they had several kids hurt who return and others who step into roles that no one knows yet but they will. I also agree with Patriot that the Panthers will be a problem again. I think Raceland, KCD, and Campbellsville deserve the preseason chatter but Pikeville isn’t rebuilding next year.

Pikeville had a lot of kids step up and get PT. Pikeville also had several kids play in more than half the games they played expect for maybe 2/3. So  I also want to add that every team will have players no one knows yet step into roles so u can’t base it off that it. But that does give you the surprise that many can’t see on paper.

And many of those games were against some pretty tough competition on one of the most grueling schedules statewide but these young men will benefit from it this season though.
