Coach P(not the Latter Day Saint) but the one who has sex with women on restaurant tables,  released a 87 second video on Twitter, telling UK to behave themselves on Saturday and give Cal a standing ovation on his return to Rupp Sunday.

My first thought... what in the holy hell is Rick Pitino doing?!?!  Does this guy really think he is Kentucky's athletic director, or something?  This should be what Mitch or the Mormon dude is out there doing. Don't get me wrong. I absolute agree with the substance of Pitino's message to UK fans. I think it would be awesome if Cal received a boisterous standing ovation Saturday. And you know what? He should get a loud standing ovation. He really should. He did a lot of really good things here in fifteen years and , quite frankly, didn't want to leave but felt it was best for all parties.

Also, what do you think St. John's fans and administrators think about Rick acting like UK's AD ?  I heard one guy say he would be mad as hell if he was a fan of St. John's. They have to be questioning whether Rick's loyalties are to the Red Storm or to Big Blue.

You know you must have some deplorables(thank you, HRC) in your fanbase if your former coach(the one who flipped you the bird) is telling you to show some class and shower Cal with kindness and appreciation. Good message from Rick but just kinda weird that he's the one doing it.

Btw, I think this might help get Cal a nicer reception on Saturday, maybe even some pretty loud applause. The Hall of Famer deserves everyone in that facility rising to their feet and giving Cal the ovation he deserves.

Fine message to BBN from the next UK athletic director, Mr. Pitino.    Can't wait to see how it goes down on Saturday.  Do you think fans follow Rick's advice and giv Cal a standing ovation in his homecoming???
