Did Honeycutt bench Sperry the whole game because he got a technical?

What happened?

Wrestling match broke out on the floor, 3 players from LCC bench ran onto the floor which caused them to be ejected.

I think Sperry was taken out for being cheap shotted on a break away dunk. The kid cheap shot Sperry and hit his head or something. He took his legs out from under him.

sperry went to the hospital with a concussion.

The kid from letcher he went after may be the nicest kid on the team so I know he did nothing to cause that kind of reaction from the breathitt player. 2 football players came off the bench to handle it and take care of things on lcc side but it’s a shame he had to start something like that. I’m assuming the players thrown out will be suspended 2 games correct??? Lcc plays at Jenkins Friday and could have an impact on that game now.

I’ve watched the video from multiple angles and heard from players themselves. A few kids ended up on floor trying to get the ball and the letcher boy was grabbing inside of Braxton terrys mouth and pushing his head down. You can see it best on bsn on YouTube last min of game. Terry already had a bloody nose that game and wasn’t only breathitt player with blood. Braxton is a good kid too. 

I’d say refs weren’t unfair but the game was a bit too much and you can’t grab a guys face. Almost looked like he put his hand on Braxton to smother him. But it wasn’t a reaction out of nowhere. Braxton deals with a lot and doesn’t ever get in trouble. He’s not one of the ones breathitt worries about losing his cool but everyone has their breaking point I guess

He hit hit his head on the other kids head coming down. And lucky he didn’t break a leg. You gotta get out of way there. It’s so dangerous.

he didn’t just start something with 40 seconds left in a game they were about to win. Go watch the video on bsn and slow it down you can see he’s clearly holding his head down pushing and grabbing his face bc he had the ball. Letcher was on a comeback but breathitt was at point they were going to likely win so who is more likely to be frustrated in that situation. Good kid or not people don’t always react in intense situations like they do off the court.
