I've had several concussions from back in my playing days...crap I even hit a boy one time so hard I went cross eyed for about an hour...having a concussion is scarey at first. My most recent one was back in 2003 when I played in the Hatfield McCoy bowl, it was like my 4th one. To this day I still cannot remember how I got to the field or anything that happend in that game. IDK if this is a side effect from it or not, but it seems like now that I've been through all them it has made my memory not near as good as what it once was. I used to be able to pick up on things real quick, and memorize a book by just looking at it once, well those days are long and gone. I just hope whatever decission Mayo and his family make is the right one. Football is just a game but when you put your future health at risk its another. Even though I loved playing the game in HS and College, I look back and wish that I'd hung them up earlier because I'm dealing with all the carnage that I went through now.
