Would have loved to see the Bills pull this one off, but at least it was a good game.

No interceptions thrown. No missed kicks. KC loses the turnover battle but wins the game.

Aside from KC getting some calls (which we knew would happen going in), my thoughts were:

1. Everyone wants to copy Philly's Brotherly Shove, but it works much better when your QB squatted 500 lbs. as a sophomore and was competitive in a huge track state's shot-put. Allen can do plenty of things Hurts can't, but there were a few critical possessions that Buffalo would have liked to have tried something else.

2. Speaking of kicking-- do the Bills wish they'd have kicked some of the extra points? Probably not. But there were two failed conversion attempts. Put those two points on the board and hold all else constant and the Bills would have been leading by 2 with a chance to go up by 4 after their final TD with 6:15 remaining. Hindsight is 20/20 and I think the Bills made the right call(s) at the time (or at least when the penalty put them at the 1).

In all, the combination of getting the Ravens the week prior and not having a bona fide #1 raget in the passing game is what separated Buffalo from KC. Mahomes probably extends the careers of some of these names, but you'd rather throw to Kelce, Worthy, Smith-Schuester, Hopkins, Hollywood Brown, Hunt and Pacheco than Amari Cooper, Keon Coleman, Mack Hollins, Khalil Shakir, James Cook, Dawson Knox, and Dalton Kincaid. Also thought Justin Reid made some really big plays. Not a huge statistical game, but made some big solo tackles and had a huge tackle for loss.
