@billymoore8123 I'm sorry I didn't get to put out a review, I just now seen your post on here, I am not on here much during the evenings/weekends.

I will say tho that it was a masterclass coaching by Landon Slone. Defensively, JC really didn't know what hit them. Paintsville came out in a 2-3, next possession they would go 2-3 then quickly switch to man, next possession would be straight man, really took Central out of a rhythm offensively. The Slone kid from JC is a good player, and has the potential to be a great player, he does a lot of his damage from the free throw line down, driving to the basket and living at the free throw line. Only thing I notice with him is his shot, just an odd, unorthodox looking release, his guide hand seems to fall down every time he shoots it, and a lot of herky-jerky movement, looks like it hurts him to shoot it, but whatever works for the kid.

Paintsville offensively just asserted their dominance down low in the first half, JC got into some foul trouble, and they went to Woods down low about 5 straight possessions with a mismatch every time, and got 5 straight baskets, Cole was getting to the basket with ease, the size was tough for JC to deal with. Second half was the Jace Kinner show, the game of his life, and he was on an absolute heater, scored 14 points in the 3rd qtr. Paintsville was up 5 at half, JC came out and hit a jumper to cut it to 3, I told my dad, this doesn't feel like a 3 point game that Paintsville should be up by 15, well it wasn't long after that Kinner went off, and it was up to 14, but Central just kept hanging around, but Paintsville just kept attacking on the offensive end, scoring a ton in the paint, Kinner cooled off some but Paintsville was still getting what they wanted around the basket.

Truly was a great gameplan and well executed as well. Big time win for Paintsville.

The atmosphere was unlike I had seen it in a long time, it was hot, loud, couldn't hear yourself think, and I loved every second of it. The way high school basketball is in the mountains.
