It was not mutual. Russell cancelled.  Something about no activities on an NTI day. Cooksey only wants games that are 90% probability of a win. After the mass exodus of players that went back to West Virginia, his outlook on his schedule changed. The program will never get better if he runs from competition.

Cancelling all school functions/activities is common when you don't have school. Just looking at the glass as half full.....  And to be honest, they played and took their lumps in the AIT.  I'm willing to give them credit for not cancelling when they knew they wouldn't be competitive. Not sure another loss in Anderson gym would make them better at this point in time, but as always...I may be wrong.

I’m sure they are still salty after the video. I’m gonna say they graciously bowed out like they did when they refused to play a couple years back with the other situation about another player APB recruited. That is not opinion. That is fact
