Corbin could’ve won by 30 or 40. Corbin let up big time in the second half. Not sure why. Akins only took 3 shots in the 2nd half and tony p jumped his case at least twice for not going and getting the ball. Akins needs to be dialed in for both big games and perceived not so big games for corbin down the stretch. Middleton is really coming on strong. He is becoming a reliable offensive threat for the hounds. Eli continues to be a solid rebounder and great passer from the post. Farmer did some good things. I expected more from whitley. They have never been able to compete at a high level. Whitley is a good sized school. Last region appearance was 2010 under chris baker. They have been to like 3 or 4 region tourneys in 50 years if im not mistaken. Cant recall who was on that last region team. If and when the 6’6” kid and ellis get eligible will be the moment i pick corbin to cut down the 13th region nets. If you can get those youngins to buy in and continue to share they are the favorite in my humble opinion. They have multiple guys who can give you 20 or 25. They also play hard and are able to out physical any team in the 13th region.
