No. Cleaning out under brush and allowing controlled logging makes sense. So does making sure that water comes out of fire hydrants when their valves are opened. There are many reasons why Californians suffer more natural disasters than the rest of the country. Those reasons have a name - DEMOCRATS.

California is one of the few states that pay more federal taxes than what it receives. The southern state all but Texas leech off the federal government every year. If you start withholding money from a disaster based on their political party which is what the MAGA Klan want to do, then when the democrats return to power then it's payback time. This is stupid doing stuff like that.

California's liberal policies are the cause of most of it's problems. It is going to cost a lot of Democrats their jobs. The Golden Gate state is beginning to turn red. They need to start trying to prevent disasters and stop looking for federal bailouts.
