South falls to Clay! Amazing job by Coach Jones and staff. Absolutely handled South from the opening tip. Clay can match South’s physicality and coach Davis made zero adjustments. Never seen a coach get all the hype and constantly lose big time games. I understand playing defense is important but if your own team struggles to score 40 points then what’s the point?

Reading this you'd think Clay won by 40. They won by 5 at home. Davis is a very coach coach but the best job I have seen anyone do on a Davis-coached team was a few years back when Glenn Gray completely befuddled his Cardinals in the opening round of the region tournament.
