Neither covid nor the portal had anything to do with Pikeville winning 3 in a row in dominating fashion. Hopefully Pikeville is Pikeville again this year.

 
Pikeville wasn't even a fragment of a thought when I was responding to this thread. My thoughts were closer to home. There is nothing I don't like about Pikeville or what they have accomplished. I wouldn't know a transfer from a home grown Pikeville generational family, or how many Covid hold backs they had, not that it matters to me in either case. We've had plenty, again, I don't care. But our team "looks" different now, a lot younger and less experienced. We wouldn't have played in the championship game if that wasn't somewhat true for most 1A teams. I'm a big fan of eastern Kentucky football, be it Johnson Central, Ashland, Belfry, Pikeville, etc. I still think Sayre has the most potential to attract athletes and become a 1A juggernaut. I most certainly could be wrong and hope that Pikeville and Raceland can still trade blows at the top. Ease up Jet, I know you've been tore up since Jerry's closed in Pikeville, that's not my fault. Maybe we'll make it to Paris before the last one closes. If we do I'll buy you a J-Boy and a cherry Coke. Heck, maybe a piece of hot fudge cake if you start behaving yourself.
