Couple of observations.  

Prestonsburg is better than they were at the beginning of the year.  Keathley is definitely worthy of the hype.  He is tall, a great ball handler and can score almost any way you need him to.  Prestonsburg also handled the press from MC about as good as any team has this year. The bad for pburg…that’s the worst 3 point defending effort I’ve ever seen. Peyton Davis got probably 7 wide open looks from 3. That’s uncalled for….hes one of the top 3 point shooters in the region.  The bad for MC.  I’ve watched a lot of their games this year, they always seem to jump out to an early 8-10 point lead and then start shooting 3s from 4 feet behind the line, playing sloppy defense etc. My prediction for the Paintsville game, if Martin co doesn’t cause 7+ turnovers with the press I feel like Paintsville can pull off a win.  I feel like Paintsville is the only team in the region that can rebound with them and they play unselfish ball. I don’t think Paintsville will try and push the pace either.  I like the cards by 8 but wouldn’t be surprised if they lose by 3.  I’m gonna call it MC 70 Paintsville 62.
