As long as I get to stand at the gate to Campbell Field and watch the Blue F-0's get off their buses, I will be a happy camper.  Can't wait to greet them with my signs !!!  :)

Glad to hear we are still living rent-free in your mind. If you would like to see the 4A state championship trophy just stop by Paducah Tilghman high School.

All kidding aside, PT did what they had to do. Played 15 games, won 15 games. You can't do more than that. I still can't help but feel if that CC/Boyle game had gone the other way, Boyle would have gone on to win their final two games and won their fifth straight title. Paducah owes a big debt of gratitude to the Colonels for knocking off the powerhouse Rebels. One  thing that we might have learned is that the gap between Boyle and the foursome of Paducah, Corbin, Franklin, and Cov Cath wasn't as wide as many, including myself, thought. I felt Boyle was 3-4 TDs better than any of those teams. Nevertheless,  , sportsmanship issues aside ,  Paducah earned their title with wins over Corbin and Franklin.

Btw, in 2025, anyone who is undervaluing or discounting Mr Haddix and Boyle, you do so at your own risk of ridicule. Boyle will  be solid, as always, and right there in the running for another trophy.

Boyle had Flaws all year... Cov. Cath. Just proved it.... They become a one man show down the stretch with defensive issues... PT was far more talented than Boyle this year.. But I think Boyle may have been a better match up skill wise for PT.
