John Fetterman is co-sponsoring the Senate version of this bill. It will be interesting to see how many Senate Democrats support deporting illegal aliens who have raped American women and children.

Senator Federman says that if Democrats block the passage of this bill in the Senate, then that will be a sign of why Donald Trump won the election. 

Fetterman has also met with Trump's cabinet appointments. Most Democrats have refused invitations to meet with Trump's nominees and will simply pepper the nominees with gotcha questions and character assassination during the confirmation hearings instead.

What’s your take on Fetterman Hoot and how he’s seemed to change up his views to an extent?  He up until recently claimed to be a progressive but has seemed to be changing his ideology to some extent…He seems to be trying to come across as more moderate as of late…

There is nothing wrong with a politician changing positions in response to the votes of his or her constituents and that is all Fetterman is doing. Pennsylvania has shifted a little to the right politically and a U.S. Senator should represent all of the voters in the state. 

It is disappointing to see politicians of the party you support voting with the other party on hourly disputed issues, but as long as those votes don't betray their own core values or the will of their constituents, then I try not to hold the votes against them. It's understandable that Susan Collins is not going to toe the conservative line in the Senate because it is better than having a Democrat holding that seat in the Senate.  Democrats should feel the same about Senators like Federman, IMO.

What is not okay is when politicians are elected after running on a conservative agenda and then betrayimg voters after taking office. That is why Liz Cheney is hated so much in Wyoming and across the nation by conservatives. Federman said some crazy stuff following his stroke but has shown good political instincts as he has recovered.
