This statement is so wrong that I wouldn't even know where to start.  The extreme portion of Maga are the only ones who truly believe this, and they would believe anything and everything that comes out of Trump's mouth.  To quote Trump, "if you say it long enough, hard enough, often enough, people will start to believe it".

For Byrd, who is Black, the incident turned his life upside down. He has been in hiding for months after he received a flood of death threats and racist attacks that started when his name leaked onto right-wing websites.
But in his interview with Holt, Byrd said he has no doubt that he made the right decision in light of the circumstances.
“I know that day I saved countless lives,” Byrd said. “I know members of Congress, as well as my fellow officers and staff, were in jeopardy and in serious danger. And that’s my job.”

Asked why he pulled the trigger, Byrd said it was a “last resort.”

“I tried to wait as long as I could,” he told Holt. “I hoped and prayed no one tried to enter through those doors. But their failure to comply required me to take the appropriate action to save the lives of members of Congress and myself and my fellow officers.”
All police departments have a Use of Force policy which dictates the application of deadly force, they’re for the most part universally written and applied across the board…In no use of force policy I’ve ever seen has deadly force been authorized for an unarmed person crawling through a window, at the minimum she could have been tased and placed in restraints….If the reverse where true and a white officer had shot a black woman you and others of your ilk would be screaming and doing back flips for him to be prosecuted…Kyle Ritenhouse is a prime example the people he shot where armed and attempting to inflict serious bodily harm when he shot them, yet he stood trial although being completely justified….
If you watched the video that day the police officers were way outnumbered. But let's not forget the guy who is responsible for the death of Babbitts and over 140 police officers injured when was the last time this country has seen this many police injuries it's Trump, he told them for 3 months the election was stolen Trump called them all to Wahington that day to get them fired up. If you want to blame anyone about her death, it's Trump there would be NO DEATH if Trump would of man up and accepted, he LOST.
Outnumbered is not justification for deadly force, she was unarmed….Trump was neither there nor fired the weapon, you’ve accused Hoot of trying to spin things, what would you call this?
Did you watch the video? Did you see how they were over ranned 140 police officers were injured that day.
Again, with Trump telling you and his people the election was stolen that's what got the girl killed, not the police officer.

Without Trump telling his Lie Ashley would be alive today.
