NFL Playoff Predictions
#7
I'm like the consensus on here, would love to see a Lions-Bills Super Bowl. Can you imagine Bills mafia and the Lions fanbase congregating for a Super Bowl? Absolute chaos, plus 2 great teams that are so hungry to win a ring.

As for my predictions which I am sure will be 100% wrong come game times, goes as follows.

AFC

5 Chargers over 4 Texans.
As good a story Houston was last year w/ a rookie QB & Rookie HC, teams around the league had plenty enough tape to figure out Stroud, injuries to key playmakers such as Nico Collins, Tank Dell & Diggs both out for the season didn't help anything.

Chargers are really clicking, as much heat as the guy gets or has gotten, Harbaugh is just a damn good football coach, no matter where he goes. Having a QB like Herbert is definitely an advantage, but Harbaugh style is smashmouth run game and stout defense, but throw in a QB like Herbert who can make any throw on the field, a great recipe for success.

3 Ravens over 6 Steelers
Steelers are limping into the Tournament losers of 4 in a row. Wasn't t hat long ago they were at 10-3, possible contention for as high as the 2 seed, then the rails completely came off. The Russell Wilson experience has been as up & down as most would expect this season, they still have an elite defense, but they won't have enough offense to keep up.

Ravens have to be big favorites going into this one, have the MVP frontrunner in Lamar, Derrick Henry who has rejuvenated his career, only concern would be the status of star wideout Zay Flowers who went down with a knee in the final week, haven't heard anything about his status as of yet, but Baltimore still has enough playmakers to win this one easily.

2 Bills over 7 Broncos
Rusell Wilson experience sure didn't pan out in Denver, but Bo Nix sure has. A great season for the rookie QB under the tutelage of Sean Payton. Denver, like Pittsburgh has an elite defense, but they've got enough to get things done offensively, great receivers and a complementary run game to go with it.

But Buffalo just seems to be on a mission, having the other MVP frontrunner in Josh Allen, who has carried this team to the 2 seed. They have a solid, yet inconsistent defense who gave up back to back 40 point games recently, but have enough playmakers on both sides. Think Denver can keep it closer than some think, but Buffalo prevails in this one.

NFC

4 Rams over 5 Vikings
Think the Rams enter the Tournament in better shape than the Vikings. They may have lost to Seattle week 18, but they already clinched a playoff spot a few weeks back, so getting rest for Stafford, and the rest of the starters will be a big advantage, as Minnesota had to play their starters against Detroit. Rams have definitely used the draft picks they've finally accumulated through trades, and they've stockpiled some great young talent on the defensive side that I think will be the difference. With Stafford, and healthy Cooper Kupp & Puka, I think the Rams pull this one out.

Minnesota had to exert a lot of energy & effort against Detroit, only to lose by 22 points, lose the division, and a shot at the 1 seed. As great a season as they had, I think Detroit exposed them a lot especially on offense, that defensive front brought a ton of pressures & blitzes on Darnold, and he isn't comfortable having to get out of the pocket and it made a big difference. Minnesota has a great defense as well, but I just think the Rams will be able to make a few more plays and also could be one of those games who has the ball last wins.

3 Buccaneers over 6 Commanders
This one could go either way, both teams are playing great right now in every aspect. Liam Coen has resurrected Baker Mayfield, even tho he was great last season, seems like his play has went to another level this season. Even with so much injuries to playmakers, they've still found a way to get to this point and win the division, also helps to have Mike Evans back, sure fire HOF when he's done.

Washington is still playing good as well, but I just have a feeling Tampa defense especially with Vea will shut down the dual threat playmaking of Daniels, who has had an incredible rookie season.

2 Eagles over 7 Packers
I am honestly rooting for Green Bay in this one, but going on the road in a hostile environment in Philly may just to prove to be too much for Green Bay, injuries at the receiver spot with Watson, and Romeo Doubs hasn't been healthy all season either. Also have to take into consideration that Hurts is still in concussion protocol the last I seen, but Philly has the best O-line and the best RB in the game, so they will do everything to assert their will and wear down that GB front line, should be a fun game to watch but Philly prevails.

I'll pick my divisional round games after the wildcard weekend wraps up.
