Los Angeles was possibly one of the worst choices to use a post-scandal, crazy politics & compulsive lies Hogan out in front of. For the compulsive lies part, Cornette has a 30 minute podcast where they go over some, and that's before he flirted with Scientology.

Let's be real, he was there to promote his new beer and they wanted him for the nostalgia pop and spectacle, so nobody got what they wanted, fans included.

Absent Hogan getting even more negative publicity (which isn't out of the question), I don't think it's as if they never use him again though, but they will be much more selective about when they do and how they present him. I doubt he gets booed if he comes out to give a wounded veteran an award in Oklahoma City or is granting a Make a Wish in Omaha.
