This president is making me proud. He awarded medals to two deserving women, Hillary Rodham Clinton and Liz Cheney. Both have provided great service to our country and showed remarkable courage, in the face of vile criticism , and even threats. Hillary gets the Presidential Medal of Freedom and Ms. Cheney gets the second-highest civilian award, the Presidential Citizens Medal. Congrats to both of these women, profiles in courage, both of them.

Thank you for your decades of service to our country, Mr President. You make all democracy-loving Americans proud.
